General Information
iPAP (international performing art productions) is managed by Guy Melamed and Arjen Barel (Bureau Barel, the Netherlands). At this moment they are the only persons involved, but we expect to grow to an organization of 10 persons in 2008, partly based in Israel, partly based in Holland. iPAP is now fundraising for the first project: Festival IL.EU. Confronting Cultures. We are now subsidized by Levi Lassen, to build our organization. For this first project we aim to co operate with differt European and Israeli arts organizations (Acco Theater Centre, Idan Raichel, Toneelgroep Alaska, Club Guy and Roni) and governmental organizations (embassies, ministries).
Mission and Objectives

iPAP is a new international cultural organization based in Israel and The Netherland. It’s focus is to create international co operations between fascinating artists in the field of the performing arts. It’s our goal to present those co operations in theatres and at festivals allover Europe (among others in Holland and Austria) and in Israel (and maybe even in the USA).

Main Projects / Activities

The first project of iPAP is festival.il.eu: confronting cultures, a co production project for the 60th anniversary of the state of Israel in 2008: a co production program between Israel and Europe in 2008. This year the state of Israel will exist for 60 years, an occasion the arts cannot ignore. I-pap recognised the need for launching an international organization that can bring together and launch artistic programs and bridge different cultures through a special made production platform.
