- Democracy and community development
Politics for all asbl aims to make diversity a real asset for the Luxembourgish democracy, by promoting a more equitable, inclusive and reflective political representation of the diverse composition of society.
The main objectives of the Association include: Raise awareness among the Luxembourgish population about the importance of diversity in politics and the benefits it brings to society as a whole. Encourage citizens, especially foreign ones, to actively engage in politics as candidates or voters, by facilitating their access to information on the political system and helping them overcome linguistic and cultural barriers. Work in collaboration with political parties, public institutions and civil society organizations to promote a more diverse and inclusive political representation, by supporting the implementation of concrete measures such as quotas or mentoring programs. Organize events, visits to the Parliament/Chamber of Deputies and other institutions, training sessions, a political leadership academy, awareness campaigns such as "Let's demystify politics!", in order to encourage debate and reflection on diversity issues in politics, and to promote fair and inclusive electoral practices. Collaborate with the media and civil society actors to highlight the successes and challenges of candidates from diverse backgrounds, and to raise public awareness about the importance of their representation within political institutions. Furthermore, the association "Politics for all" also aims to promote European identity and values within Luxembourgish society. This is reflected by: Organizing awareness and education actions on the fundamental principles of the European Union, such as democracy, human rights, solidarity, and cultural diversity, in order to strengthen the sense of European belonging among citizens and residents of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Encouraging active participation of Luxembourgish citizens in the decision-making processes of the European Union, by informing them about the functioning of European institutions and encouraging them to express their voice in European debates. Promoting exchanges and partnerships with European organizations and transnational initiatives, in order to foster intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding among European peoples. Highlighting the successes and good practices of European policies that contribute to the well-being and prosperity of Luxembourgish citizens, to emphasize the concrete benefits of EU membership. Actively participating in initiatives promoting European identity, by organizing events and specific activities to celebrate the cultural and linguistic diversity of Europe and strengthen the sense of European pride among the Luxembourgish population.
